Omeruo is set to miss the double header Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone due to the injury.
While the defender is yet to get fit an online medium, bsnsports.com.ng Ā published that the defender has resumed training with Leganes ahead Friday Segunda game against Mirandes.
But Omeruo debunked the rumour and said he is out for two weeks.
The former Chelsea defender took to his official Twitter handle to set the record straight.
He rubbished the publication as misleading .

There are indications that Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr will replace the defender from rue players on standby with Kelechi Nwakali as the probable player to take Omeruo’s place.
The Super Eagles camp will open November 9 in Benin City Edo State ahead of the November 13 game at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium.
