Plateau United head coach Abdul Maikaba is optimistic his side have the wherewithal to upset their CAF Champions League Tanzanian opponent Simba.
Plateau United will begin their CAF Champions League campaign against the Tanzanian giants in the preliminary round.
Maikaba while speaking with brila FM as monitored by Africa Top Sports said he is unfazed with the Tanzanian side.
He also revealed that the club don’t know much about their opponent but he will do his findings and get the appropriate information he needed before the first leg.
The draws for the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League preliminary round was held on Monday.
The first leg of preliminary stage will be held between Novemeber 27-29 with Plateau playing away.
Then the Jos-based side will host Simba in the return leg December 4-6.
Plateau United finished as Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) leader in the abridged 2019/2020 season.
