Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for president in the general election of 2023, has mockingly praised President Bola Tinubu.
Obi asserts that Tinubu is successfully carrying out the pledges he made to Nigerians during his campaign, including emulating the policies of the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, whose administration has been characterised as directionless and illiterate.
During his campaign, Tinubu pledged to pick up where his predecessor left off.
The APC years have not been easy for the populace, particularly when it comes to putting food on the table.
During his appearance on Arise TV on Tuesday, Obi asserted that the president had fulfilled his commitments to his constituents.

“He [Tinubu] is doing well because what he promised people is exactly what he is doing; that he would start and continue from where the previous government stopped,” Obi said.
