Ahead of Anambra 2021 Governorship election, political parties have been urged to select candidates with competence and capacity to invest in the infrastructure and human capital development in the state.
Speaking to our correspondent, Hon. Ejim Ucheagwu, a former aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Nnewi North State Constituency, Anambra State House of Assembly, said the current government had failed woefully in developing Anambra state.
According to him, Anambraians should be in the lookout for candidates who have proven track record and has demonstrated the ability to perform despite all odds.
He said the government of Governor Willie Obiano could not meet up to the standards he professed during his campaigns.
Ejim said the incumbent government has left the people of Anambra State in worse position than he met them.
