Uche Nnaji, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu state has claimed that those causing internal rancor in the state are solely after 2023 campaign fund.
Nnaji stated this at the APC party Secretariat while addressing the purported suspension of the incumbent chairman of the party, Barrister Ugochukwu Agballah.
He said, “This Tinubu’s Money they are looking for is why they are causing trouble in Enugu State.
“I will visit Tinubu and tell him not to bring his money to Enugu state, because it will cause more trouble.
“Let me tell you; we will use Enugu’s APC Money to deliver Enugu, and maybe after election we will ask for a refund.
The governorship candidate further alleged that those causing crisis in Enugu’s APC are going after the national leadership of the party with the promise to deliver 25 per cent in the 2023 elections.
Uche said with the incumbent Leadership of APC in Enugu state, they will deliver over 75% votes.
He also noted that with the grassroots ‘thank you’ visits they have done after the primary election; APC has the resources to deliver 75 per cent.
In his words: “We reject in it strongest term the 25 per cent delivery they intended to abscribe to Enugu”.
“We have what it takes to get 75 per cent and it is time we let those causing internal rancor to know that it will not be possible to remove a super performing Chairman of the party.”
