The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, has challenged the National Assembly to commence impeachment proceedings against President Muhammadu Buhari immediately over the killings in the land.
The fiery Priest, who spoke in Enugu, told his congregation that no civilized leader would remain in power with the spate of violence in the country.
“Nigerians are crying because there’s no security in the country. The National Assembly should impeach the President if he doesn’t resign.”
He warned the lawmakers that if they failed to unseat the Nigerian leader, “something worse than what they can never imagine” would happen to them.
“How can people be dying and the chief security officer of the country would be sitting down without making any comment.
“Gunmen attacking people everywhere. Buhari should have resigned honorably following his (alleged) failure as a leader.
“Let me tell you that if it were in a civilized country, President Buhari would have resigned by now.
The cleric wondered how the Nigerian leader could maintain grave silence in the midst of the unsavory development.

He expressed believe that the president may has lost touch with realities.
“So, it is amazing that he has chosen to sit tight while people are dying daily.”
Mbaka indicated that Nigerians were facing intense poverty and insecurity.
He stressed that the nation could not continue this way cautioning: “Enough has to be enough. There is time for everything.” He beseeched God to change the hearts of Nigerian leaders, wondering how someone could become a billionaire with the commonwealth of the people.
Mbaka also deplored the activities of nomads, urging Christian leaders to pray for divine intervention.
“I plead that church leaders should understand me as a messenger of God and stop attacking me.”
“When gunmen begin to strike inside the church, they will begin to kill one man of God or the other or even members,” he added.
