In Emure, Ekiti, a one-year-old kid named Desmond Adewole was crushed to death by an unidentified car.
During the Easter Sunday service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Emure Ekiti, one of the worshippers ran the boy over.
The car’s owner has not been recognised, according to a church member who yearned for anonymity.
The boy was only found on the ground in a position that shows that he was mistakenly run over by a vehicle.
The church member said the ugly development happened when the baby came out of the church looking for his mother.

He added that the ugly development had thrown the entire community into confusion.
When contacted, the Ekiti State Public Relations Officer, Mr Sunday Abutu said the matter would be investigated
