Billionaire businessman and hotelier, Engr. Daniel Omoyibo alias (Danmotec) has applauded a Delta State lawmaker, Hon. Kenneth Ogba for his efforts in pushing for development in the state.
Omoyibo described Ogba, the member representing Isoko South constituency 1 in the state house of Assembly, as goal focused and oriented.
The commendation is following the recent approval of Dantinajo Gold Resort road linking Omu Street with a spur to H&O hotel as well as the rehabilitation of the Olomoro road (Smith Evivie Rd) by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Meanwhile, Engr. Omoyibo, MD/CEO Dantinajo Gold Resort Ltd, Oleh, also urged leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), party faithful and indigenes of Oleh to join their voices in appreciating the lawmaker.
Omoyibo who gave the appreciation at a reception for newly sworn-in councilors from Oleh wards at the residence of former chairman, Isoko South, Sir M.O.C Eto said he would not gamble the House of Assembly for any other position in 2023 adding that if not for Ogba, the roads approvals by governor Okowa wouldn’t have been so easy.
The philanthropist however admonished all Oleh newly sworn-in councilors to remain loyal to leaders and donated cash to the councilors and the local government vice chairman, Hon. (Mrs) Uzoge Blessing to change their wardrobe, saying that he want them to be smart, decent and unique in their appearance.
Addressing the councilors, Hon. Kenneth Ogba, harped on the need for them to always remain loyal and committed to the leadership of the party, the council chairman and the legislative arm, its leader and all the principal officers.
According to the lawmaker, that’s the only way they can excel as councilors and being at loggerheads with the leadership of the legislative arm won’t bring about any progress and meaningful development.
Ogba also advised the Oleh councilors and the council vice chairman to work in synergy with the legislative arm and the council chairman and others for the betterment of Isoko South Local Government Area.
Also speaking, the chairman, governing board of Delta state Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Barr (Chief) Joe Arausi urged the councilors to be humble, loyal to leaders, saying that they should not be carried away by their new status, but by being loyal as councilors would open more doors for them to grow politically.
In a vote of thanks by Hon. Erowo Igbudu on behalf of all Oleh councillors, thanked all PDP leaders, party faithful and all their ardent supporters for their unalloyed and unwavering support given them during and after the recent council polls and prayed God to in his infinite mercy continue to bless, favour, prosper and see them through in all their endeavours.
