About five persons lost their lives in a fatal motor accident along Asaba/Kwale Expressway in Delta State on Friday evening.
The accident occurred close to Ossisa in Ndokwa East local government area of Delta State.
The accident involved a bus belonging to a transport line and a private car which collided.
An eyewitness who spoke with our reporter said the accident occurred when a Mazda driving from the Kwale Axis of the road, collided with a Toyota Hiace bus belonging to Agofure Transport line.
The eyewitness said a diversion on the road due to ongoing construction, forced commuters to take one way.
As at the time of report, five persons were confirmed dead on the spot while others suffered severe injuries.
Amongst the deceased is an eight years old boy.
All effort to reach the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for official report at press time proved abortive.
