The 2025 budget would include seven more federal institutions for the Zaria Federal Constituency, according to announcements made by Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr. Abbas Tajudeen.
Tajudeen made this disclosure on Saturday during a Ramadan Iftar (breaking of fast) in Zaria, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
He clarified that the objective of the initiative is to enhance Zaria’s standing as a centre for higher learning.
The Federal Technical College, the Federal Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Institute, and the Federal College of Agriculture were the organisations mentioned by the Speaker.
A School for the Disabled (Primary and Secondary), the Technology Incubation Centre, the Centre for Management Development, and four new federal secondary schools are among the others.

Tajudeen reassured constituents that the fiscal year 2025 will see the implementation of further development initiatives that directly benefit the populace.
“With the 2025 budget now signed into law, the payment for the scholarships of 2,500 indigent students in tertiary institutions will be released soon.
“Additionally, 4,000 more students will benefit from the scheme,” he stated.
He expressed gratitude for the solidarity and support from his constituents, which he described as the foundation of his achievements in the National Assembly.
The Speaker also called for prayers for President Bola Tinubu, emphasising that such prayers could help the government tackle inflation and boost GDP growth.
He noted that, due to the holistic approach of the Tinubu-led administration, the rate of insecurity had significantly reduced.
