The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin has said that he is ready to negotiate with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Vladimir Putin said he is willing to send Russian delegations to the Belarusian capital of Minsk to talk with fellow European Country, Ukraine.
As per The Cable News Network, Putin’s decision has been followed by a request which was made by the Ukrainian president, Zelenskyy.
A statement said; “Following Zelensky’s proposal to discuss the neutral status of Ukraine, Putin will send representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the Foreign Ministry and his administration to negotiate with Ukraine.”
The statement also said that the Belarusian capital of Minsk will be the designated venue for the proposed talk.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine started on Thursday after the Russian president ordered an invasion on Ukraine.
