A final year student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu University, identified as Abadibe Lovelyn Ogochukwu, has been confirmed dead in a motorcycle accident on monday.
The deceased is a final year student of English Education Department of the institution, Igbaraim campus.
The Union Nigeria, reports that the motorcycle accident happened in front of the university entrance gate.
Although the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained at the time of writing, eyewitness account has it that the motorcyclist also died on the spot.
Meanwhile, four students of the university were involved in a ghastly motorcycle accident which claimed the lives of two students last Friday.
Although not confirmed, it is being reported that another student died on Saturday afternoon after being involved in a motorcycle accident.
The deaths recorded in the last three days have necessitated calls for the total ban of motorcycles plying the university roads.
