WARRI; A man identified simply as Ade Adegbite, (kidnapped victim), has regained his freedom.
The Union Nigeria gathered that the victim who was abducted last week Thursday was released early hours of Monday, after spending four days in the hands of his abductors.
Report had it that certain amount of money was paid before his released.
Sources said that, “the family of the victim paid an undisclosed amount of money as ransom before he was released.
“The victim is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
Operatives of the Police have reportedly recovered his Toyota Venza in which he was abducted.
“The car was reportedly abandoned in Ugbomro, another community in the council area, by the abducted but has since been recovered by operatives of Ebrumede Police Station.”
When contacted for comment, the State Police public relations officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the released, on Tuesday afternoon.
She said “he has been released and at the hospital, that security operatives at Ebrumede Police Station in the same council area, recovered the vehicle.”
