Popular music producer and guitarist, Ifiok Effanga, aka Fiokee, is mourning his sister, Emma Effanga, who recently passed on.
In an emotional post on Instagram, Fiokee alleged that his sister died from domestic violence, stressing that he was not aware she was suffering in silence.
He noted that justice would take its course, but no amount of punishment would bring his sister back to life.
He urged those in abusive relationships to speak up, adding that silence could prove deadly.

Fiokee wrote, “My heart is shattered. I can’t believe I’m writing this, but my sister is gone. She was taken from us by someone who claimed to love her. I had no idea she was suffering in silence. She never spoke about the abuse, and now it’s too late.
“If you are in an abusive relationship, please, I beg you -speak up. I know it’s not easy. I know fear can make you stay quiet but silence can be deadly. There are people who care, people who will help you. Please don’t wait until it’s too late.
“Justice will take its course, but no amount of punishment will bring my sister back. If this message can save even one life, then her death will not be in vain.”
Meanwhile, we recently reported that gospel singer Paul Nwokocha has revealed why he ended his second wife, to Mrs. Goodness Nwokocha.
Nwokocha had married Goodness in September 2023.
The singer had accused his first wife, Alice Nwokocha, of maltreatment, leading to their separation, hence his subsequent second marriage to Goodness, who hails from Nkpa in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
However, reacting to the development, Paul accused his new wife of sending nude images and videos to other men.
He alleged that his wife was taking nude photos and videos and sending them to men.
