Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu, aka Odumodublvck, says he dissed President Bola Tinubu in one of his songs out of loyalty to Peter Obi.
He said he took the step during the 2023 election period because he believed in Obi’s vision and wanted to show full support for the Labour Party candidate.
The rapper confessed on Thursday, April 3, via a post on his official X handle, where he also demanded public support from Obi for his upcoming album “The Machine Is Coming”.
According to him, the backlash he’s been getting since then has stained his name and legacy, all because he stood behind Obi when it mattered.

In his words,
“Peter Obi, I even dissed Tinubu for you. Now, because of you, the people are spitting on me and my legacy.
Tweet ‘The Machine Is Coming’ to rekindle and redeem our friendship, sir.
“Do not listen to them. Listen to your heart. The Machine Is Coming.”
Odumodublvck, who has been one of the most outspoken entertainers of his generation, openly campaigned for Peter Obi during the 2023 elections.
His support was visible across social media, interviews, and lyrics, where he once declared,
“I dey hope on Peter Obi to save me.”
He said he even rejected a performance invitation for Tinubu’s inauguration, insisting, “They did not do their research.”
In February, Odumodublvck survived a ghastly motor accident.
On Tuesday, February 25th the rapper shared photos from the accident scene and his hospital bed on X, revealing the details of the accident.
He captioned the images:
“Survived. The Machine must arrive in one piece. It is a must. The Machine is coming.”
While details of the accident are still unclear, the photos suggest that his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a palm tree nearby.
