Mother of Oluwadolarz, Oluwaseun Adebisi Adeyemi, popularly known as Mummy Dolarz, has pleaded with her son’s baby mama Adegoke Ifeoluwa (Ife Luv), after her social media outburst.
She pleaded with Ife to reconsider her decision to end the relationship with her son, Olamide Babatunde Ogunleye (Oluwadolarz).
During an Instagram Live session on Tuesday evening, Mummy Dolarz emotionally revealed that she had gone as far as kneeling multiple times for Ife Luv, an act she described as a taboo in Yoruba culture, all in a bid to prevent their separation.
“I’ve knelt down for you many times because of my son’s misdeeds, which is forbidden in Yoruba land. But I did it because I don’t want your marriage with my son to end in divorce. Is it that I am a fool?”
She also addressed the backlash she has received online, saying many had insulted her over her son’s behaviour.
“God knows everything that happened has saddened my heart. I have read a lot of messages today, and many people have insulted me, saying I didn’t raise my child well. No problem. Those who say I didn’t train him well, do they know how to train their own children?”
she asked.
Mummy Dolarz also warned those dropping negative comments about the situation.
“All parents on this live will reap the fruit of their labour. But if we see anyone dropping bad comments in the comment section or saying, Don’t accept, they should check their own lives first. What some people are hiding in their personal lives is deep.”
She explained that she had tried her best to intervene, even confronting her son several times.
“I have explained the different things that happened to me. Leave those attacking me, let them say anything. No one made me to be receiving these insults other than my son”.
“I have always said this, no matter when my son started his behaviour, you knew about it too. I am always behind you. I have fought my son because of you,”
she added.
The emotional plea comes after Ife Luv announced the end of her relationship with Oluwadolarz earlier on Tuesday, accusing him of cheating and financial irresponsibility.
“I left him the first time because of cheating. He spent two years trying to convince me that he had changed,”
she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.
She claimed she had been handling 85 per cent of their child’s expenses because he was often broke and living a fake lifestyle.
“He absolutely has nothing to his name. If you give him an advert deal, he won’t deliver. Brands keep threatening him, and every time he sees me achieving something, he starts crying because he hates it,”
Ifeluv wrote.
She also alleged that she once found an actress hiding in his bathroom but that he denied anything was happening.
“This man was my absolute first. But now? It’s over,” she said.
As of the time of this report, Oluwadolarz has not responded to the allegations.
