American rapper Kanye West has admitted he took part in incestuous acts with his cousin as a child.
A tweet posted from West’s X account on Easter Monday revealed that he was set to release a song called Cousin.
The track is inspired by a relative who was jailed for life for “killing a pregnant lady”.
In the past, the 47-year-old has spoken about an incarcerated cousin but never revealed his name, only stating that he was jailed aged 17.
Kanye shared a music video for the song and said he blames himself for the violent act that his cousin got involved in.
His tweet read: “
This song is called COUSIN about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t “look at dirty magazines together” anymore.

“Perhaps in my self-centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw. My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my mom’s closet were different.
“My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins d**k till I was 14. Tweet sent.”
Kanye has urged his Western colleagues to learn from Nigerian afro beats artists, Jewish investors, Chinese and Indian tech gurus.

In a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, West criticised American rappers, claiming they often lack understanding of the legal and business aspects of music and rely on foreigners for assistance in those areas.
