Gospel singer Evangelist Ayodeji David, aka Kekere Jesu, Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Opeyemi Adesina and Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin have been confirmed dead following an accident along the Ikorodu–Sagamu Road in Ogun State.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, confirmed the unfortunate incident in a statement issued by Florence Okupe, Public Information Officer of the Ogun State Command.
The deceased were reportedly en route to a ministry assignment when the incident occurred.
According to the FRSC, the incident occurred when the vehicle conveying the ministers collided with another vehicle in a high-impact accident.
The Corps stated that all four occupants died instantly.

According to The Nation Newspaper, the accident involved multiple vehicles and reportedly claimed over 24 lives.
Preliminary investigations pointed to overspeeding and poor visibility contributing to the fatal crash.
Meanwhile, the newspaper reported that Kekere Jesu and his senior brother’s wife had been laid to rest, while the remains of his deceased P.A were taken to Ado-Ekiti and his deceased fiancée was transferred to her family for interment.

In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, the singer revealed that he was scheduled for a fifth surgery due to the persistent pain.
My leg still hurts. I am still going to do another surgery. I’m living it. I have just accepted that experience.
“It’s what is making me who I am today. That’s my story. I don’t want to happily identify with it but it’s part of my story,”
he said.
