Popular Fuji music singer Wasiu Ayinde aka Kwam 1, has opened up about his religion, stating that he is a member of the Celestial church of God, and even built a parish.
The Ade Ori Okin singer revealed this during his recent interview on the Agbaletu Radiovision podcast, stressing that religion saved him during tough times
Yes, I attend Celestial Church; I am a bona fide member of Celestial Church, a proud one. In fact, I even built a church. In times of trouble, I sought religion and I also sought the face of God in two different ways. There is no place I did not search for the face of God.
Kwam 1 has called out his senior colleague and mentor, Ayinla Kollington, for not reciprocating his kind gesture.

Kwam1’s mother died on January 18, 2025, and was buried on the same day by Islamic rites.
However, expressing his anger in an interview with On Air Personality, OAP Bamidele Adeyanju on Agbaletu Radio, Kwam1 narrated how he stood with Kollington when his mother died, and handled all the finances.
Expressing his disappointment, he accused Kollington of repaying him back in a bad way.
“I’m very angry with Alhaji Kollington for not reaching out or offering condolences when I lost my mother. I joined hands with him to bury his own mother. Supported him to give his mother a befitting burial. I brought many dignitaries to the burial including governors, and I handled all the finances 100%.
“See how he paid me back. What could have happened after everything I did for him? He was in Nigeria, hale and hearty when my mom passed away, and the only excuse he could give was that he called, and I didn’t pick. Am I not supposed to be angry?”
