Popular Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko is taking legal action against colleague Queeneth Hilbert, accusing her of defamation.
Destiny is demanding a public apology and N100 million in damages, claiming Queeneth falsely tarnished her image with damaging allegations.
The controversy started on March 6, 2025, when Queeneth took to Instagram, accusing Destiny of using manipulative tactics to benefit financially and of having a romantic affair with a man named Tony from Benin.

In a now-viral video, Queeneth stated:
“It has come to my notice that you, Destiny, think it’s all about running around and unfollowing me.
It all started on the set of Cubana Babes. Once she sees you have a close relationship with someone financially stable, she tries to snatch them.”
The allegations did not stop there. Queeneth further accused Destiny of exaggerating financial transactions, claiming,
“They give you N200,000, and you increase it to N1 million.”
In response, Destiny Etiko, often called “Drama Doll” by fans, wasted no time in fighting back.
She posted the legal notice on her Instagram page on Saturday, denying all claims and demanding that Queeneth retract her statements on all social media platforms.
Destiny’s legal team insists that Queeneth’s accusations were an attempt to destroy her reputation and mislead the public.
According to the notice, Destiny has given Queeneth a strict deadline to take back her words or face a full-blown lawsuit.
“Cease and desist from publishing, disseminating, and making any further false and defamatory statements about our client.
“A retraction of the derogatory publication not later than 48 hours from the receipt of this letter and an apology published on the same platform used in disseminating the defamatory statement.
Payment of ₦100,000,000 (One hundred million Naira) as damages for the malicious publication made against our client,”
part of the notice read.
