Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye has called out pirates illegally using her movies and images as clickbait on YouTube.
In a recent Instagram post, Ademoye accused a Ghanaian television station of stealing her movie title and poster.
The filmmaker also called out a film company she claimed was one of the channels engaging in piracy.
The 34-year-old actress described the act as “intellectual property theft,” emphasising the financial and emotional toll it has taken on her.
Bimbo Ademoye revealed that she had invested millions in producing her films and warned the pirates to desist or face consequences.
“And I just wanted to let you know. ‘Broken Hallelujah’ is coming. But I thought we would pass the days of piracy. And this video is actually to send a sound warning,” she said.
You know those people who take your thumbnail, your title and pretend like it is the same thing before clickbait. Please, I’m begging you now. Let us all remember that we use that email address to open a YouTube channel. You can be traced.
I did not permit you to use it. My title has been copyrighted. It is a different thing if like a movie ‘Homecoming’, and then ‘The Homecoming’. That one is fine. But it is my actual title and my thumbnail.

Stop uploading my movies on your channel. Those of you who use my thumbnail and my title, and you use another film, I do not care if I make the film. Do not use my thumbnail. It’s my intellectual property. It’s mine. And I’m not permitting you to use it. Please. I have had sleepless nights.
I have been spending money. My family, my father, my nephew, nobody has slept because we’re all working to make sure that this PR is like huge. Then one evil person will wake up and decide to use my property, my intellectual property, because she wants to feed.”

Former Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu, has passed on at the age of 74.
Reports reveal that the prominent figure in Nigerian football died on Saturday, April 11, 2025, but details surrounding his death remain unclear.
His longtime teammate and friend, Dr. Olusegun Odegbami, confirmed the development.
Christian Chukwu was a towering figure in Nigerian football, first as a player and later as a coach.
He captained the national team to their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title in 1980 and later led the Super Eagles as head coach in the early 2000s.
He was relieved of the job in June 2005 during the qualification campaign for the World Cup in Germany.
In 2019, Chukwu suffered prostate cancer, which affected his leg. The family opened a GoFundMe appeal to solicit funds for the Nigeria football legend’s medical treatment.
Businessman Femi Otedola eventually paid $50,000 for Chukwu’s treatment overseas.
Chukwu captained Nigeria to its first AFCON success in 1980. He also led the Enugu Rangers FC team that won the Africa Cup Winners Cup in 1977.
Chukwu also served as assistant coach of the first team to win a FIFA World Cup trophy for Nigeria – the Golden Eaglets that triumphed at the FIFA U16 World Cup in China in 1985.
He was also assistant coach of the team tagged the Golden Generation – the 1994 class of Super Eagles that qualified Nigeria for its first FIFA World Cup finals.
