THE Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority NCAA has approved Leadstream Aviation Training Organization to carry out type rating system course (initial and refresher) on the Boeing 77 series, CRJ series, Challenger aircraft and Embraer, hawker 125 series, ATR, Donier and DHCB.
The NCAA presented a certificate to the ATO in its Lagos office confirming Leadstream’s capabilities to conduct training for engineers and technicians on almost all the types of aircraft flown in the country.
Reacting to the acquisition of the certificate, the Executive Director Roland Ahmed Maikudi expressed joy and commended the management of NCAA for doing a diligent job and promised to uphold high standards in line with standard operational practices
“I feel great and very grateful to God for the strength to pursue this dream, thus far. We are not there yet, still work in progress, even though we are happy we are not celebrating, because the journey ahead of us is far.”
He noted that the journey so far have been challenging and interesting, but the expressed joy that effort made was not in vain.
“The next line of action, is to continue to do more, continue to improve on what we have, continue to seek for more approval until we get to the point that, no engineer on technician have a reason to travel out for training”
Ahmed explained that the organisation will expand into pilot training (flight training), where they will be expected to take delivery of our B737CL full flight simulator.
