Two people who are accused of killing Justice Azuka, a member of the state house of assembly have fled from detention, according to the Anambra police command.
On Christmas Eve, while Azuka was heading home for the celebrations, he was kidnapped and attacked by gunmen.
Azuka’s dead body was discovered on the Second Niger Bridge early this month.
PREMIUM TIMES reports that Tochukwu Ikenga, the Anambra police spokesperson, announced the suspects’ escape in a statement on Tuesday evening.
